Did You Know

I love learning about history and I thought I would share some posts every now and then of some things I am interested in. All Vintage/Retro All the time. Personally my favorite Eras are the 40's 50's and 60's. 

My first Did You Know segment is on the 50's I know I should probably start with the 40's but my all time favorite Era is the 50's and here are some cool facts that you may or may not know!


1950- The very first credit card was introduced. It was called the Dinners club credit card and was used in roughly 14 restaurants all over New York.

1950-The very first Peanuts comic strip, written by Charles M. Schulz, appeared in seven newspapers on October 2, 1950.

1950- In Fashion Pucci opened the Fashion House of Emilio Pucci.
