What's your Tale Nightingale...

I am a stay at home Mom currently on Maternity leave until October 2013 and a full time wife/homemaker I plan on staying home after my Maternity leave is up to continue my dream of being the typical Vintage housewife! There is so much to learn from the women of the 50's. It's not about giving up everything you dream about well back then maybe but my goal is to have the grace and elegance that these lady's had and still be able to carry on my career at home allowing me to still be the homemaker my family deserves to have. First off let me tell you a little bit about my life before I had my baby girl. I was and still am a hairstylist, photographer, and makeup artist but a few years back i was diagnosed with Lupus/Arthritis as well as Fibro which DID NOT put a damper on anything... Ok maybe it did for a little bit but one thing I realized while I let it take me into its darkness is nothing can take me without my permission and these two diseases do not have my permission so now I am on a mission to concur my dream. My dream is to have My perfect family NOT "the" perfect family but MY perfect family the difference you may ask Well "the" perfect family is everyone else's definition and views MY perfect family is my definition and views (my husband has a small say ;) just kidding but who can complain when your wife wants the following things : ) )a well put together organized home, a crafty and attentive mother but not one that spoils, a wife that makes her husbands dinners every night as well as lunches for the next day and takes care of her husband but again not one that spoils her husband we are BOTH the most important people in the home without one of us our house hold and life wouldn't be complete My husband is the breadwinner and I am the homemaker I still bring in money but its not the same as him therefore I take on extra responsibility by making sure the at home life makes for a good day at work so he can be happy and be the best he can be while away from home. In this blog I will have many posts about my 1950's remixed housewife life, The way I run my household, my steps to becoming organized, my fight against my illnesses (which again are not going to bring me down), lots of cooking recipes, Etiquette, my perspective on parenting, home decorating, fashion and so much more!
